CLIA has mandated that for a person to qualify as a Lab Director, they must have 20 CME credits in Lab Director Role and Responsibilities. The AAFP has reviewed Laboratory Director CME Certification: CLIA Lab Director Responsibilities - Enduring, and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 03/04/2025 to 03/03/2026. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
